Oracle Chooses AnyChart Solution for Latest Release of Oracle® Application ExpressVANCOUVER, April 17, 2007 - Sibental Inc. today announced a licensing agreement with Oracle to incorporate Sibental's DBA AnyChart technology within Oracle® Application Express. As a result, the AnyChart Flash Chart Component enables Oracle Application Express Release 3.0 developers to include Flash® Charts in their applications. Sibental is a member of Oracle PartnerNetwork. Oracle Application Express is a free, Web-based application development tool that enables users to easily build, deploy and manage secure Web applications using only a Web browser. Oracle Application Express is integrated with all editions of Oracle Database 10g and Oracle9i Database Release 2. With the integration of AnyChart, Oracle Application Express Release 3.0 now supports 18 types of Flash charts. There is also a utility that converts existing SVG Charts to Flash Charts.
As a cross-platform solution, AnyChart Flash components work on virtually any platform: MacOS, Windows, BSD, Linux, Solaris, Unix and mobile devices. The use of AnyChart allows Oracle Application Express Release 3.0 developers to offer their customers real-time flash charts without the need to edit Flash source. Core XML-based technology allows controlling transparency, color, URL linking, captions, legends, backgrounds, animations, and sound along with the displayed data. Currently, Oracle estimates that approximately 100,000 developers are using Oracle Application Express.
